1. What is the online manual?

The Online Manual is a tool for you to read important information about the show, as well as submit forms for your participation e.g. Show Guide Company Listings, Upload Product Information, submit Exhibitor Name Badge requests as well as submit order forms for supplier requirements such as furniture orders, lighting + electrical and rigging.

3. What are the show open hours?

Wednesday 8 May: 10am – 6pm

Thursday 9 May: 10am – 8pm

Friday 10 May: 10am – 5pm

4. What time can I set up/dismantle my stand?

2013 times to be confirmed.

5. I am a shell scheme exhibitor – what is included in my stand package?

You are provided walls, carpet, spotlights, and fascia name board. To view the full list of inclusions please refer to the Shell Scheme Specifications found in the Information Section in the Online Manual. You must submit the Company Name you wish to have presented on your Fascia Name Board via the Name Board Details Form in the Compulsory Forms Section of the Online Exhibitor Manual.

6. I am a space only exhibitor – what is included in my stand package?

As a Space Only Exhibitor your stand booking is for the exhibition floor space only with no other inclusions provided. You are responsible for building your own stand, flooring, walls, carpet, etc. For a list of recommended stand designers/builders, lighting + power contractors and furniture providers please visit the Contact List in the Information Section in the Online Manual. You must submit your stand design for approval via the ‘Space Only Construction’ Form in the Compulsory Forms Section of the Online Exhibitor Manual.

7. Is there power provided to my stand?

No power is provided as part of your stand booking. If you require power please complete the Lighting & Electrical Order Form in the Compulsory Forms Section of the Online Exhibitor Manual.

8. Is there a contact list for the preferred suppliers/contractors at this event?

The full contact list of preferred suppliers/contractors can be accessed via the Information Section in the Online Manual.

9. Where can I collect my exhibitor name badge for entry to the exhibition?

Exhibitor Name Badges are submitted via the Exhibitor Name Badge Form in the Compulsory Forms Section of the Online Exhibitor Manual.

10. Is there parking available for exhibitors at the exhibition?

Please note that Free Parking IS NOT available for exhibitors. For more information about parking, please refer to www.scec.com.au

11. Where can I pick up my stand lead-tracker?

Trackers are ordered online with InfoSalons the Exhibition Registration Provider at Stand Tracker Online Order Form. Orders can also be submitted via the Supplier Order Forms Section of the Online Manual. Trackers will be available for collection during move in on Tuesday 7 May 2013 from the
registration desk.

12. Are there any functions for exhibitors to attend during the exhibition?

The DesignBUILD Networking Function will be held on the Opening Night, Wednesday 8 May, 2013. Time and Venue for the function will be confirmed closer to the event.

13. I want to advertise in the official show guide – what are the advertising rates?

The Show Guide Advertising Rate Card and Booking Form are available in the Compulsory Forms Section of the Online Exhibitor Manual and on the DesignBUILD Website. 14. What are the delivery details for sending items to the exhibition?

Delivery Address Label is available in the Information Section in the Online Manual. Neither the SCEC nor the Organisers will take delivery of any goods, packages or other material on behalf of exhibitors, nor will the Organisers accept responsibility for the safety or well-being of any such items delivered to the site in the absence of the exhibitor, his/her agent or contractor. Full delivery information will be confirmed closer to the show.

15. Is there WI FI internet available for exhibitors at the exhibition?

Visitors and Exhibitors to the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre will have access to free wireless internet.

16. I require an international visa to exhibit at the show. How can I obtain an invitation letter?

You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . Please note that only Exhibitors that have paid in full will be eligible for an Invitation Letter.

17. Am I able to bring family members to the exhibition?

DesignBUILD 2013 Exhibition is a business event and is trade-focused. Entry is restricted to those professionals who are involved within the building + construction industry. Children under the age of 16 years, including infants, will not be admitted. Students and apprentices enrolled in a relevant course may attend the show if they have the appropriate student identity card.
