International Exhibitors

International building companies are welcome to exhibit on the show floor at DesignBUILD 2010.
The process for securing space applies the same rules as those required by Australian companies. International exhibitors looking to exhibit in DesignBUILD 2010 simply need to contact the show organisers for more details.
All the same rules that apply to Australian companies also apply international companies looking to exhibit in DesignBUILD 2010. To find out more about these regulations, visit the Australian Government's Austrade Website.
Australian Building Standards
DesignBUILD is a trade-only exhibition and carries standards with regard to the products on show for sale. New regulations introduced into DesignBUILD in 2009 bring the show standards in-line with Australian Building Standards, meaning that where required (not all products carry a certification in Australia) relevant products will need to carry Australian certification in order to be displayed on the show floor.
SAI Global – DesignBUILD Product Certification Partner
SAI Global are the official ‘Product Certification Partner’ to DesignBUILD 2010. They are a commercial organisation who specialise in providing certification services for 80% of the building products certified in Australia and have regional offices around the globe.
SAI Global will be able to assist international companies find the standards that apply to their product classifications. Not all products carry Australian Standards however we recommend that all companies looking to exhibit in DesignBUILD contact SAI Global directly or view their website for the appropriate guidelines.
